I’m Entering NaNoWriMo

This means I’m commiting my month of November to writing 50,000 words for one of my books.

My question today is this: have any of you done it? Are you still on there so we can be buddies? Got any good tips?

I’m looking forward to this, especially since writing my first draft for Two Knights and A Princess was on my ‘To Do This Year’ list. 🙂

Wish me luck.

  1. OOOHHHHH!!!!!!!! NANOWRIMO!!!!!!!! <33333333
I did it last year, and it was a blast!!!!!!! 😀 I'm doing it again this year!!! My username is "Jedi~Chick" (i know, oh-so-original) and I made the goal of 50,000 words!!! You can read my story either on my WordPress blog, under the page 'Reaching For The Stars' or on Fanfiction.net. 😉 If you want to that is. XD (See, I'm promoting my story every chance I get! LOL!)
You'll be great at NaNoWriMo!!! I've read some of your writing on here before, and you're GREAT! 😀 Good luck, you're gonna need it! 😉 LOL! (oh Han Solo….xD)

    1. Aww, thanks so much for the encouragement! I’ll love it that we’ll both be doing books; we can keep each other going!

I’ve started you story already; I think it’s pretty cool! I’ll leave a comment once I finish it. 🙂

I decided to make a fresh name for myself, so my username is Jennifer Liberty (which is actually the name of a character who is based after myself from one of my books.) Can’t wait for November. Are you going to be writing a Star Wars fanficition again?

  2. I did NaNoWriMo in 2009 and not even for 50,00 words!!!
My month was just completely gone and I found it rather stressful plus, my birthdays in November so, yeah……..
I hope that you go well and that you’ll keep us updated on your blog though (I would miss you if you left for a month)
Sorry if I sound like Nanowrimo is terrible it’s not but I just got stressed!

    1. I’m hoping it won’t be a busy month.

I completely understand about the stress; thankfully I’ve been writing for a very long time, so I’ve got a lot of the ropes down. I’m sorry you had a tougher time at it.

For you, I’ll do updates when I get started! You can help keep me accountable! Thanks! ❤

      Love, Jamie

    2. Same thing with me- school, my birthday, choir… I tried but I didn’t make it very far. It was a fun experience though despite the stress.

      1. Thankfully, my birthday isn’t in November! LOL! There is Thanksgiving, but it’s not like that’s a huge holiday for my family anyway. 🙂

  3. I can’t join NaNoWriMo, because November is such a busy month for us… I wish it was in March or something instead! lol I tell you what though, I’ll be your cheerleader if you e-mail me what you write! I’ll keep you going even if you start to get stuck!! :p

    1. Thanks! Emailing reminds me; Did I respond to our last email or no? My computer goofed up the other day and pratically lost all of my emails. And then I couldn’t remember if I had responded. If I haven’t, I guess you’ll have to resend the email to me if we want to continue!

      1. You did respond. ‘Tis my turn and I’ll try to get to that within the next couple of days. My week went haywire and I’m desperately trying to finish this short story of mine, so I can get to the real project it’s for!

By the bye, during November, if you do want a cheerleader, we can have a second e-mail thread for it, and try to keep it short, since you probably won’t have time during that month to answer our long e-mail as regularly. *starts to feel neglected in advance* :p

To the KING be all the glory!

      2. Good, I couldn’t remember! I’ll be watching for it.

That’s a very good idea! Maybe I’ll start it with the link to my page or something…. or at least I can send you my word count. 🙂

It always makes my day to see your messages! Don't forget to check back, I try to write back to you too! <3
