Things That Make Me Smile:

Old-fashioned type writers. I love the look and feel of them. 🙂 I also love how noisy they are too!!!

Carasouls; especially ones with very fancy horses and mirrors. 🙂

Silhouettes! They’re so beautiful and mysterious looking!

Christmas lights are some of my favorite things; I love white ones best!

White dresses; they’re so feminine and pretty!

Bicycles; they are so classic looking.

Old-fashioned suitcases. There is just something about them! The buckles and clasps, maybe…

Cute outfits—I’d love to pull off a look like this but…I’m afraid my eyes and my actually dressing style are quite different. Class and flair is awesome but a graphic T and jean skirt is just as fine too….

Being underwater—this Sunday revived in me the love of gliding through water. I’ve never taken a class or lesson in swimming but I can do it like breathing. Just jump in and kick. Nothin’ to it. Going under water is even neater!

Cupcakes—they are adorable, yummy, adorable, yummy, adorable….

Old-fashioned locks and keys–keys especially.I actually have a couple myself. 🙂

Horses—I love horses, they’re my second favorite animal, so very graceful and beautiful.

Rustic animation—I enjoy is almost better then the new type now-a-days. My eyes feel funny when I see something that look likes it actually real and walking around then when it’s simply a flat animation. Besides, there seems to be a specialness in the old animation that I don’t see any more. *sigh*

And, last but not least, pianos. I love pianos. I hope my future home has one in it. 🙂

So, there is a list of things that make me happy. How about you? D

  1. I love you! You always make my day!

I completely agree about the whole animation thing too. It especially bothers me when I watch a movie and I can just tell that it was meant to be watched in 3D. You know what I mean?

    1. Aw, I love you too! {hug}

Exactly! And some of the new animated people look . . . . . weird! Like the characters from UP (which I haven’t seen yet, but I saw the trailer) . I couldn’t get over how fat they made the boy! It’s like his head was the size of a extra large pizza! *sighes* At least most of the characters in the older animation were normal proportions! Lol

      Thanks for the comment!

  2. Things that make me happy:
I like most all those things too…. except carousels, I don’t really care for those.
I also smile at Lightsabers and blasters, dogs, kittens, good classical music,
    grand piano’s, saloon piano’s… anyway. 😛

  3. Cause, they go round and round and round and round and ROUND and ROUND and ROUND and *gag-gag-* …. maybe I haven’t mentioned before I don’t like spinning rides or rides that are kinda circly.

    1. Oh, that’s right. You have a weak stomach. Excuse me. I forgot.

Still, wouldn’t you agree that they’re very pretty and cute and just fun?!?!

  4. Oh yeah, I like that part about them, but not really riding on them. (and my stomach is only weak sometimes…)

  5. My Bible, pianos, quill, ink and paper, beautiful music, flowers, a good book, a good poem, a clean kitchen, a vacuumed carpet, a tiny baby, a pile of folded laundry, an older baby, people I love… not necessarily in that order. 😀

To the KING be all the glory!

  6. Pretty pictures! I’m agreeing with you on several of these things. 🙂 I bought a vintage electric typewriter, but I haven’t used it for anything significant yet. Do you own a typewriter?

    1. I have a newer style type; it’s electric too, with a plastic body. 🙂 I’ve fiddled with it a little bit, but I don’t want to waste any ink till I know what I want to do with it yet. 🙂

  7. We have a very old typewriter that belonged to my great-greanmother. I meant to tell you about it. I love it! It’s actually from Soviet Germany – it says so on the back. I should send you a picture of it…

To the KING be all the glory!

  8. *cough* I MEANT great-grandmother…

It does still work, but it doesn’t really have any ink in it. I have yet to discover where I can buy new ink either…

To the KING be all the glory!

  9. l have always wanted a typewriter!

I almost bought one but I didn’t know where to buy a typewriter ribbon.

It always makes my day to see your messages! Don't forget to check back, I try to write back to you too! <3
