Hello! Welcome to my blog! Thank you for stopping by, and feel free to drop a comment! I’d love to know who’s been by and what you think!
Who am I?
I am a eighteen year old girl striving to remain joyful through the hardest of times. I’m a homeschool graduate, homemaker-in-training, a writer of mysteries and family adventures, a daughter and sister to my dear family, and a young Christian. And lots of other things, too. Like, a Star Wars and superhero fangirl. A die hard Sherlockian. An animal squeezer. A thunder-loving puddle splasher. A obsessive reader and watcher of all things mystery. A book lover. A fantasy lover. A writer of short stories and funny little novels. I enjoy cross stitch and crocheting. I also enjoy archery and guns and pretty much anything that explodes (this can range between water balloons and grenades). I love walking the neighbor dogs. I love the library. My favorite day of the week is Sunday!
To find more things that I love, read the text on my sidebar titled ‘I love..’
Am I a fangirl of anything?
I am a fangirl of several fandoms, many of which are listed on my Fandoms page. To sum them up briefly here; my first big fandom love was Star Wars. I’m a huge Avengers fan, I adore Christopher Nolan’s Batman world and Heath Ledger’s Joker. I’m also what you call a die-hard Sherlockian, I’ve read nearly all the stories, my first crush was Basil Rathbone’s Sherlock and my recent crush is Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock. And, I love US version of The Office. And these are just my big fandoms. I also like Pixar/Disney films. And don’t worry, Doctor Who is going to be huge.
In my active imagination, I’m a crime solving detective, a Jedi Master, a Shield agent, a Grimm, a Warehouse 13 agent, a Knight of Camelot, and, yes, just as everyone suspects, I’m secretly a vigilante who helps superheroes protect places like Gotham City…. The only thing that’s actually real is that I really am The Doctor’s companion, but if I’m only beginning to sound like a nut case, reading this post will clear that last statement up a bit….
Why is my blog called ‘Through Two Blue Eyes’?
I gave my blog that name because it can cover anything I talk about. Life on my blog is life through my perspective. It was a name that hit me one day when I was thinking of what I would title my blog if I had one. ‘Through Two Blue Eyes’ stuck in my memory. I do have blue eyes…
Why do I blog?
I blog for many different reasons, and the main ones are not your typical reasons. I started my own blog to write about things that I couldn’t really do on my mother’s. A very large reason of why I started my own blog is to keep out-of-state family and friends updated on our life and myself. Some people who come here have known me since I was a baby; literally. I like to keep them updated. I like having them up-to-date on the (I hope) always improving Jamie. I like letting them see my thoughts on films, music, family life, animals, theology, ect. It helps them remember.
A smaller reason of why I started my own blog was because I simply enjoy writing.
Thanks for stopping by.
If you end up sticking around, please feel free to leave a comment; it’s my policy to respond!
